Do you know what I’m getting tired of? I’m getting tired of the pessimistic attitude that people have towards marriages. Tell me if you’ve heard either of these cynical standards: “They will never last,” or “Half of all marriages end in divorce.” The next time you hear one of those go ahead and defenestrate the offending party. Seriously though, why would anybody look at marriage through that lens? Why not choose to view marriage as a unity of love, or realize that half of marriages don’t end in divorce. You know what that means, right?
